Bringing happy, healthy eating to our school lunch menus, not only on Green Mondays but throughout the week too, the Go Green Lunch Initiative brings the many benefits of plant-based eating to Enquire Learning Trust pupils - from a healthy eating, an educational and an environmental perspective.

With Green Cuisine plant-based alternatives on our menus 3 times a week across the cycle, we are lowering our carbon footprint and addressing food sustainability.
Green Cuisine takes a specially selected variety of pea and removes all the protein goodness (which contributes to the maintenance of muscle mass) from it. Then, they add their unique combination of herbs and spices for a succulent taste experience.
Plant proteins are highly nutritious – not only as a good source of protein, but for providing other nutrients such as fibre, vitamins & minerals. Whilst they contain some healthy fats, all products in this range are low in unhealthy saturated fats.
Supporting the GO GREEN LUNCH INITIATIVE, our GROW YOUR OWN project supplies everything required to grow vegetables from seed. It is designed to educate children as to where their food comes from and on the importance of vegetables in the diet – both for their health and for the environment.
